Mediterranean Intensive Rehab Programme

Neurological rehabilitation.
A new horizon in Sanremo.

MIRP is a rehabilitation stay in Sanremo, Italy, for people living with neurological conditions from Sweden and Denmark. Fisiomed Sanremo and Fysiomedicine bring together individually adapted exercise, time to rest and experiences by the Mediterranean.

Time and attention.
For what matters to you.

MIRP creates space for a focused period of rehabilitation away from everyday routines: professional support, guided activities and shared experiences on the Italian Riviera.

Participation is discussed with the team, taking account of personal goals, clinical circumstances and support needs. Activities and intensity must be appropriate for each person.

01

Connect before travelling

An initial conversation to understand your needs and assess whether the stay fits your rehabilitation journey.

02

Make room for movement

Rehabilitation and guided exercise at Fisiomed’s MOVE facility, with activities adapted to agreed goals.

03

Share the experience

Time to rest, meet other people and discover the local area, with the option of bringing a companion.

For you and your everyday life.

A neurological condition can affect movement and everyday activities. MIRP is for people who want to dedicate time to an individually adapted rehabilitation programme abroad, with the option of travelling with a companion.

Before booking, we discuss your goals, mobility, accessibility, fatigue and everyday assistance needs. The team assesses whether the stay and available support are suitable for you. A diagnosis alone does not determine eligibility.

The Riviera is waiting

Sea air. Colour.
Time to be here.

Blue sea, colourful façades and a moment by the harbour. Sanremo makes room for the small moments between activities: a coffee, a conversation and a fresh view. Outings are planned around the group’s needs and circumstances.

A taste of the Riviera

The Mediterranean, at your table.

The scent of basil, freshly baked focaccia, the flavour of extra virgin olive oil. In Sanremo, discovering the region also means taking time to enjoy good food and good company.

Local flavours to discover

Pesto, Taggiasca olives, seasonal vegetables and fish: Ligurian cooking invites you to discover simple, distinctive flavours. A bakery stop, lunch by the sea and a shared table can become lasting memories of your stay.

The Mediterranean way of eating

Vegetables, fruit, pulses, whole grains and olive oil take centre stage, alongside fish and nuts. Variety, seasonal ingredients and balanced portions go hand in hand with the pleasure of sharing a meal: inspiration to take home into everyday life.
